South Eastern Jersey Club

Dear Members,
We have now sorted out a summer programme and hope that you
will make an effort to attend these meetings which have been
arranged. Please could you let me know in good time if you
are coming or not as the case may be so that I do not have
to chase you for an answer.
Saturday 14th June - 11am
Ashley and Angela Shaw have invited us to Churchfields Farm,
Gomshall, Guildford, Surrey GU5 9LQ for a Herd Visit. Ashley
has plans for the future that he would like to share with
you. We will also include a fun judging of six cows. Light
lunch will be provided.
Saturday 19th July from 6.00 – 6.30pm
Adrian has invited us for a stock judging evening at Mays
Farm, Selmeston, Nr Polegate, East Sussex BN26 6TU. This
is a good opportunity to see his cows prior to calving. It
is important for catering purposes that we know numbers beforehand
as food is so expensive for humans as well as animals, and
we should not have to presume numbers.
Friday 8th August - 7.30pm
An invitation to The British Wildlife Centre, Newchapel,
Lingfield, Surrey. It has been a while since we last visited
the centre. David would like to update us on developments
since our last visit.
Friday 28th November - 12.30pm
This is the suggested date for us to meet at Halland Forge
for lunch to round off the year before Christmas sets in
and another year passes by.
I look forward to meeting as many of you as possible at these
meetings.
