History was made at the EX Factor Sale on
Saturday 20th May 2006 at Borderway Mart in Carlisle.

Lucas of Harrison & Hetherington Limited finally brought
the hammer down to smash the Jersey UK record price paid for
a pedigree Jersey at auction.

It was Shellen Connection Diamond VG88, a two year old, consigned
by Tom Savage & Shelia Fleming. First Heifer-in-milk, Milk
Production, Exhibitor bred & Champion Jersey Heifer Agri-Scot
2005 overtook the UK breed & European Breed record price
paid for a Jersey as S&S Murray, Shipley Bank, Wolverhampton
went to 8500gns.

In addition to this great feat, Potterswall Vindication Nikki
born on 22 March 2006 sold for 800gns and became the first
Vindication daughter to be sold in the country. This lively
little lass is the grand-daughter of Mnadeville Sambos Nikki
Ex 94-3E and was sold to Mr C Smith, Lancashire.
The five Jerseys sold averaged £2961
